REMINDER: HOA MEETING, SAT., NOV 15th. Common Area Fee Increase

Special Meeting Reschedule Notice

PGD Las Palmas I & II Home Owners Association

 

Dear Homeowner:

 The turnout for the Special Assessment meeting this past Saturday, OCT 11th, was did not meet the required 60% for a quorum; only 78 unit owners were represented out of the required 117.  Although a definitive direction was not made on the exterior painting, the meeting turned out to be a very productive OPEN FORUM. In any event, the Board needs to get direction on the needed exterior painting. 

 Therefore, as allowed by our governing documents, the Board is calling for a follow up meeting which only requires 96 unit owners (50%) present (either in person or by proxy).  This meeting will be scheduled as follows:

 

When:              SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2014

Time:               4pm - 6pm

Where:            Pavilion #4 (next to the tennis court)

TOPICS:               Special Assessment - Exterior Paint

                               Common Area Fee increase of $29.50

 * The proxies issued for this past meeting will still be valid unless the issuing unit owner rescinds that proxy. 

 As stated above, the Board will discuss the Special Assessment as well as an increase in the common area fee. Please note that the Special Assessment will require a vote of the unit owners present (provided we have a quorum of 50%).   However, any change in the common area fee will ultimately be a board decision.  The board would like to hear everyone's concerns on both topics and hopes that we have at least the required 50% representation on the November 15th meeting.
