Be advised that various PH I units have installed split AC units without approval.  The board is currently looking at how to handle this situation as it is a clear violation of the governing rules of the community.  Additionally, PH I was designed to accommodate a central air system and split units pose an electrical installation challenge as well as having to drill through various areas of exterior walls and mounting of outside units on exterior walls.
